The Calvary Baptist Church is actively involved in not only spiritual matters but also in helping the people especially the downtrodden and poorer classes. Old people mostly widows who have no body to support them are identified and a monthly pension Rs.150 is paid to them. At present about 120 people belonging to main church and 50 people belonging to branch churches are being paid the monthly pension. The beneficiaries are as mentioned below.
